It's very very likely. Chen Jin is still young and Chong Wei should beat him. Hafiz is on a roll right now and he should have little problem reaching the final. Hafiz vs Chong Wei will be a good final.
For men's doubles, I hope Paaske/Rasmussen can win the title....consider it their farewell title before they split up.
abedeng 10-21-2005, 08:48 AM For men's doubles, I hope Paaske/Rasmussen can win the title....consider it their farewell title before they split up.
Why are they splitting? They are still young and surely good enough for another 4 years.

whizkelv 10-21-2005, 11:57 AM Does not look good for Malaysia.
Our challenge for XD and WS has ended.
Now all our MS are struggling.
If all 3 MS players knock-out in QF, it will be a major embarassment for Misbun.
Phydhel 10-21-2005, 11:59 AM the live scoring is blowing me away

I made a mistake.
Yes, LCW and WCH are under Li Mao.
But not Hafiz. Remember, he swore before that he will not train under any other coach than Misbun (statement made during Li Mao's appointment early this year).

Choon Hann has yet to prove he can win long matches from the past so I think we can look forward for Chong Wei vs Chen Jin in Semi which is more interesting than MAS vs MAS.
Misbun is on leave due to family emergency so for this Europe trip, Li Mao is in charge for MS.
