thanks! i'll keep taking photos...

mr ji was quite mad that chen yu lost :o he kept blaming chen yu for "退步"

hmmm all chinese players are nice... especially yu yang! and lu lan was quite nice too, she was a bit shy though. du jing is cool too, but she didn't play a single match, cuz she was ill... so wang lin was her substitute. chen jin is the best! he's such a gentleman :D we always talk with each other and sometimes he makes lame jokes :p

Hi, thanks for the photos, nice one! You look so cute and I am sure the players are more than happy to have a photograph with you. While Malaysia performed well in this tourney, Chinese youngsters did not have any breakthrough this time except for Chen Jin, who defeated Peter Gade. I am surprised with Zhang Dan/Zhang YW loss, gave away easy win to the Japanese top pair, any comment on that?

From watching the final match, I saw that Ogura/Shiota played very well, especially Ogura. If they played like that in the semis, I wouldn't be shocked if they defeated the Chinese.

As for Malaysian players, I have never seen CCM/KKK play so well before. Their defence have improved a lot. KKK was the best player on court. Also, LCW and Hafiz played a nice match. They did not give each other quarters, they wanted the title very much. The WS final between Pi and Xu was breath-taking (both literally and figuratively).

Also, don't forget that the Chinese had to compete in their Chinese National Games before going to Denmark on a long plane trip. Fatigue is definitely a factor here. But, let's not take the credit from the fast improving Ogura/Shiota. They have done well in the past few tournaments, reaching the final of Asian Championships (losing to Lee/Lee) and now winning the Denmark Open. The Park Joo Bong factor is also crucial. There's no doubt he has bring about improvements to the Japanese ladies (both singles and doubles) in this past year.

It's a pity the Japanese will not come to HK Open 2005

Great to know that the semi-finals and finals offered some high quality matches, although we have no chance to catch the actions live in Malaysia. Hoping that the finals of Hong Kong Open will be aired live in Astro.
