I went to SGVBC yesterday night and thought she looked vaguely familiar. Then confirmed it with my coach, it was Gu Jun. :) I guess she's on vacation, visiting the U.S. and needed her badminton fix. :D

I went too late to see her play with a few of the locals but maybe she'll be there tonight.

I wish I wasn't injured, then I'd line-up to play with/against her. Not every day you can play with/against a World/Olympic Champion. :p

world/olympic champion is the least you can say about her. she and Gu Fei didn't lose a match for a stretch of 4 years. they are invincible, godess, if she smashes and hits you in the face, you should walk over and thank her for the honor, and while you are at it, get on your knees and kiss her feet, ...

looking back, one could consider this duo as legend with those kind of records. S4madman, remember to kiss her feet, not kick :p

I would just walk over and kiss her feet without her smashing at me... :p ...but the spectators might think I'm weird. Oh wait, they already do. ;) :p :D

I'll find out if she's playing tonight, if so I'll bring my digicam and get some pics/video. :D

OK! Will do Sir. I wish the coaches didn't have to teach students today, I want to see:

Gu Jun and James Huang (Huang Zhen) vs. Alex Liang (Liang Qing) and Grace Peng (Peng Yun). Or some sort of combination like that. That would be nice. :D
