Rasmussen/Andersen have only played two tournaments together. They are making JR play a qualifying round. And the answer why was posted above, probably because JR and Andersen have only played a few tournaments. Even if JR teamed-up with a Junior National, I'm sure he'd still do decently well and would not warrant playing a qualify round. At least to me. So to me, the IBF/Tourney Organizers are not respecting JR. But like I said before, there maybe madness to their reasoning or stated rules prior to any seedings so everyone has to follow the rules.
