I guess it would be a good idea if IBF introduces a World Badminton League, in which only top eight players/pairs can participate. They are required to play one another (round robin), just like soccer league. The winner will be the one who wins most. I guess it would be more interesting!!!!

Maybe they can make a tournament which format is similar to the Champions League (Soccer Tournament)... The champion will be decide in something like Toyota Intercontinental Cup....But it will be really weird...

yeah, but maybe they should change the format because the thomas cup is all held in one place at one time of year.. the davis cup is held in each country. This would work better for telly because it would mean tv coverage wouldn't have to be for as long - and since the countries are separated into divisions people wouldn't see their team getting thrashed.. well not too much anyway :)
