just saw his game with baochunlai in china open, i think this guy is pretty good , just lack of experience, hehe, hope he can be better next time:cool:

their play styles are quite alike? i am not so professional , but i just feel this way:) :)

actually, he doesn't suit to be badminton player, he's to short :D

he needs 5 or 10 cm" higher :D

actually i was a little worried about simon's height too, but he is very agile(misspelled?), hopefully that will make up for his height;)

He already done that!!! He is no longer coached by Joko Supriyanto, he shared Mulyo with Taufik after Indonesia Open I guess... Dunno the reason why... BTW, I think that Simon is really good, just his mental isn't strong enough... He made lots of unforced errors against Boonsak and Lee Cheol Ho (1st game only) last Indo Open... His shots are powerful and his footwork isn't bad either... I also heard that as a player, Simon is really discipline from the begining until now...

Ong Ewe Hock must be shorter than that and Lee Chong Wei can't really be much taller.

for his height, is better for him to play doubles..
is not that he cant win in single but it take him double the effort in order to win points compare to taller player..
is Hard but not impposible...

Guys, Simon is 175... That's quite tall you know.. Ardy's onnly 171.. Can't say that Simon's short.. And, he has since grow.. At the recent Swiss Open 2007, he beat Chen Yu, and won Lin Dan one match before LD WO (27-25), but he succumbs to Chen Jin.. That's a great achievement, he's the runner-up of SO.. ^_^

Simon is doing well now in Singapore open he lost to Lin Dan in second round....n now he beat Hafiz Hashim....wish him luck for tomorrow's game against LCW....if he beat LCW then path to semis is guranteed as he will not be playing a difficult opponent in the quarters....
