Who has played MP 100 SP 4U/4G? Do you recommend it? Is it US$100 a good price for it?

Thanks,

If it is in good condition(and real), for 100 US dollars, it's a steal of a deal. Since MP-100 was once one of Yonex's premier racquets, recently discontinued 1.5 years ago, it is a very good and powerful racquet. If delivers great offensive power, and though stiff, is very good. Just not recommended for beginners, because of its head-heavyness, and that it has a small sweetspot, if may be harder to hit, and easy to hit the frame. When I first got mine, I misshit the shuttle a lot, lots of shuttle marks on the frame, but when I got a good hit in, it was great.

In short, if it is a legitimate, genuine MP-100 in good or mint condition, get it.
I recall when it was being sold in the US, it was around 190-220 US dollars. Unless you plan on visiting Singapore or Hong Kong soon, that's a good price for a MP-100 SP, but SPs sell for around the same price brand new in SG and HK.

Thanks. Basing on your comments and posts in the forum, I'm not going to buy the racket. Since it has been off line 1.5 years ago and no one has yet played 4U/G4 MP 100 SP, it is indeed a little strange.

Do you have any info on the 4U JP MP-100? The Yonex JP and TH site says 2U or 3U only. For MP-100 SP, I've seen only 2U and 3U. My initial reaction is that it's fake or you read the label wrongly.

Sorry, I've never heard of a 4U Cab 30 MS either - look at the Yonex JP and Th sites.
