how can I watch badminton channel in the US?
For example, wisconsin, minnesota, and iowa?

i have been looking around, and almost none of the channels have it. the US satellites do not carry the asian channels that broadcasts badminton (eg. StarSport).

i say "almost" because you can subscribe to TVBI, which is the international division of the Hongkong station TVB. and once every blue moon, they will air some months old tournament. however, the subscription cost is high, and it is not aired often, so it is not economical. much better to ask some friends from asia to record them for you and send them here.

i have heard of one person who lives on the pacific coast, he managed to errect a 12+ foot satellite and received some signal from asia.....

I was thinking if DirectTV Satellite has such program. Perhaps not huh?! :(
it is so unfair. eventhough in Olympic, all the sport channels in US never even shown a bit of the badminton tournaments.

i looked into DirectTV. no go. they have *lots* of channels, but most of them are either local sports, or channels from some european countries.

i regularly comb through a couple of sites that lists all the channels carried by satellites hovering above the US. and none of them have the "right" channels. :( :(

so kwun, after created this successful and well-known badminton forum, what is your next target?
ever thought of coming up with the first badminton channel in the states?;) ;P

sure! i have problem justifying a hundred odd dollars for a new forum software, i think i will need hefty financial backing for this new venture. does anyone have a couple of million $ to spare? :)
