Yesterday's results are so much better. Simon managed to beat Boonsak...suprisingly. Also, Anggun/Yunita beat the second-seeded Sudket/Saralee.

There are 2 chances of having all-Indonesian final. First in the mixed doubles. I personally think Anggun/Yunita should be able to beat CCM/WPT. However, gold will go to Nova/Butet.

Meanwhile, Markis/Hendra needs to show their class and hopefully beat CCM/KKK today. Alven/Luluk should have no problem with Choong/Wong.

As for men's singles and women's singles, I do not harbour any hopes. Any victories will be considered a bonus. Firda should have a good chance against Salakjit.

No news for Jo/Greysia....which I have expected to reach semi-finals.

nguyen tien minh seems to be posing a threat to some top players here..
he streched both Taufik n LCW...and LCW does not seem to be in really good form..almost lost to tien minh..only rediscovered his form late in 2nd set and then finished off the decider easily..

I think yang yang is the one who contribute a lot to vietnam badminton. A few years back, you can trade in any racquet and get a yang yang racket for 50%.
Those trade in racquet are suppose to be send to vietnam for badminton grassroot development. Quite suprise nguyen manage to make LCW play 3 sets. Is good for badminton, when more country take the game more seriously. :D

does anyone know the names of Choong TF/Wong CH's first round opponent from Phillipines??? I read it from Chinese newspaper but I don't know their English names... The name in Chinese sound like "Yienjir/Amayi"??

And Wong CH/Ooi SA's first round opponent from Vietnam.. the chinese names sound like "Ngyuen Hong Hai/Lee Ting Tian"??
