im new in this forum. after reading a few thread's .
i feel that i am a amature here. was thinking i am a good player .. LMAO.

k k , i live in malaysia and using a RSL Millenium ti 66 with t68i @26lbs.
i smash great and love's smashin'.. looooool

however , racket's are expensive here (Malaysia) my rsl cost USD 52.6 (converted from ringgit)
LOL .. i know it's cheap for u guys , but it is expensive to me.

anyway , i am planning to get a new racket. something more tournament like.
i was thinking of a few and would like some advice on actual users on the rackets i mention comparing to the one i have now.

choices:
AT 800
MP 100
Ti 10
any racket that is completely white .
LOL..

and im planning to string it at about 32lbs . and dont tell me my arm will ache , i am not an amature i guess.

If you are going to string the racket 32lbs., I would recommend a SOTX racket. If you insist on Yonex, go MP100 or Ti10. 32lbs. is a lot of tension for an AT and will be prone to break.

Keep in mind, if you go Yonex at 32lbs., there will be no warranty.

ooh , sotx , i dont hear much of foreign rackets in malaysia .
those popular ones are of course yonex , carlton , wilson , rsl ,pro ace .
these are common in shops.

im going around 30~32lbs.
mp100 here cost 300-400ringgit ( about usd100) . i am still wondering . and i hate those old man stringer saying i cant handle a 30lbs string.
i know what i am doing.

more opinion please.

If you are now handling 26lbs comfortably it is likely that you can handle a few extra lbs increase in tension. However, it would be better for you to try out 27.5/30lbs first before taking on 30/33lbs. The optimal tension should be the one that you can comfortably handle with max power and control. If 30/33lbs tension requires a conscious effort from you to hit with some strength then it is not for you.
In the hands of a good stringer who knows what he or she is doing, almost any modern racquet can handle high tension stringing. It is not true that the Yonex AT700 cannot handle 30lbs. High tension stringing is more stringer- dependent than racquet-dependent. In the hands of a non-knowledgeable stringer stringing at high tension is a hit or miss thing-sometimes the racquet cracks and other times all is well (on the surface, that is). Also the durability or toughness of a racquet in surviving clashes or high tension stringing does not indicate its better material quality. Very high tensile strength materials are very durable. Unfortunately they come at the cost of reduced modulus.

nice advice.
i played on my frineds Ti10 at 30lbs and i find it very good for my role playing (doubles), which is often back court.

how ever when im playing single , i'll switch to my 26lbs rsl.

hmm , yeah .. this has helped me alot. thanks .
