Both are very good performing rackets. My 2nd pick would be an AT800-DE. The AT500 is great but a bit to flexible for me.

It will never happen in reality.

For my experience, I'll try as many models as possible until I found the one that really suit me. I'll stick to this model for a while and then...the searching process kick off again when I see there are enough latest models in the market. :)
