After many months of abuse, my AT700 has finally succumbed. After about 8 months of clashes and drops, my AT700 was virtually undamaged. Then I took a break from badminton, and when I came back, it took abuse like none other and in a span of 3 weeks. The head deformed and I cracked a section of it. I still rate its durability a stunning 9.5/10, because its survived so long. Now what to do, since I'm not playing competitively anymore, I was thinking about using a MP99 or Ti-10, so that I may have a new challenge in mastering another racquet. However, I only have enough money for ONE of these choices : MP99, MP100, AT700, Ti-10. My smashes are weak, I rely alot on control and lifting, and I tend to play an offensive game (doubles/singles). Which do you people recommend?

Hey that sucks. Lol.
But it's really entirely up to you. All of those racquets mentioned are good. In my opinion, since you used at700 for a while now, I say get either the 2U Ti-10 or MP100. They are both good racquets and generate good control and power.
But if you're interested in trying something "different", I say try mp99 because it's even-balanced and takes a few sessions to get use to it.
Whatever choice you make, you can't go wrong. :)

Try the AT800-DE or SOTX Woven 8 or 9 or just stick with the AT700. :D

Funny...
Anyway, new Ti-10 is hard to find in US and I think the durability might be an issue. Just my opinion.

Hi Sir Dinkalot,
1) Merry Christmas. :)
2) I am comparing Ti-10 to AT-700. I feel AT-700 is a little more tougher than T1-10.

Hello Sir Silent Heart,
1) Thank you and Happy Holidays to you too! :D
2) Really? Based on my experience, the Ti10 is more durable but YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). :) :D :D :D

over all I think MP99 is not as durable, I have used 5 mp99s, 2 of them got cracked from doubles game, and it wasn't serious clashs. After that I only use them for singles and 2 of them start having sounds near the cone, which is very annoying.....I think MP100 fits you more since you like AT700. But for me MP100 is harder to use, I'm talking about 3u MP100 and 4u At700 both G4.

If you like AT700 and find that it served well then you should stick to it.
I really liked the 4U one compared to the 3U, matter of taste tough.

yes, i would have to agree with madman on this one. i've got 2 ti-10's, been using one of them for over a year and there are still hardly any paint chips, let alone serious damage to the racquet. and i rarely hear of anyone actually breaking one whilst playing shots or stringing, although with clashes, that's a different story as any racquet is just as likely to bend with a clash. so yeah, ti-10 for me appears to be one helluva survivor ...
