Just bought an Airblade Tour. Broke my AB superlite last week after using it for close to 3 years.. since the latest AB superlite is not available in Malaysia, i guess the tour is the closes thing.

Also bought an AirBlade Elite 1.5 months ago but even though it's a fine racket (85g,stiff), due to its head-heavy nature, it's more suitable for singles play. I seldom play singles so, I'm seriously thinking of selling it off, any takers?? Pls PM me if anybody is interested. Price negotiable (M'sia KL/PJ only).

Back to the AB Tour. Weight is 86g, Medium Flex, even weight distribution. Strung with bg66 at 25lbs. Wow, what can i say, this racket rocks.. and it made a great doubles racket.. whether u r an attacking or defending.. no wonder Nathan Robertson chose it as his main racket. This racket reminds me of the earlier AB2000 and Rasmussen rackets which where very popular a few years back.

Hello Marcus Fong,

I have an old version of Carlton Airblade Tour (frame is box-shaped, like those YY Carbonex series as attachment), but it is more heavier, with string and towel grip, it totally comes up to 107 grams.

It seems to fit aggressive players more, I like it so much, though a little bit heavy. You are very luck to get the newest model of Carlton rackets, as in Hong Kong, those Carlton rackets are still of old models, like the AS-1 and AS-TI. Probably Carlton has abandoned the market in HK, that lets down most of the Carlton fans here.

If convenient, pls post a few photos of your Carlton Airblade Tour and Elite here. Tks and X'mas.
