Specs : 4UG2 , HeadLight
Strings: Yonex BG66
Tension: I requested it to be strung at 28lbs 1 Piece stringing. It was strung by the supplier who sent the racket to me.
Grip: Original Grip but I change it to my usual towel grip
Technology : Nanotechnology, NanoPower Frame, GreatFeel Core.

First Impression:
The paint job and the looks of the racket reminds me of NanoSpeed8000. I feel comfortable holding this racket. Well balanced.

Warm Ups:
Baseline drives are fairly good. Initially I need to swing more , but after getting a hang of it , this racket does perform well. Not much vibration felt and surprisingly this racket is forgiving. Reaction is fast when I was doing my normal fast and quick flat drives routine. Overall the racket is well made. This NanoSensation 80 racket may feel or look like an ordinary racket but wait until you see how it perform during gametime.

Game Time:
I really like the feel of this racket. I don’t have any problem with timing my shots. I adapt to this racket naturally which I find it good. The drops and feel is definitely there. I can even do some tricks easily. What I like about this racket is that it is stiff yet at the same time flexible. The slim shaft does give you the whipping effect which reminds me of MP90. With the combination of Yonex BG66, the repulsion and the sounds makes you feel at ease and motivated to play more. Even though this is a head light racket, the power generated by its boxed shaped frame will make you want to smash and smash and smash. Initially you may find it hard to use this racket if you are not used to a head light racket , but once you get used to it, you will surely love this one. If you have a hard time defending , you may find it easy to defend using this racket. NanoSensation 80 does suits the thinking players as well, which usually they rely more on control , feel rather than the usual aggressive play.

Among all the YangYang racket that I come across with. This is their best headlight racket so far in my personal opinion. Not only that, if the price is good , Nanosensation 80 may give those other brands a run for their money as well.

I would rate this racket in terms of Feel, Control , Power and Defense. However it is based on my own test and review. It may vary depending on the player, tension and what string you use.

Feel: 9/10
Control: 8.5/10
Power: 8/10
Defense: 8.5/10

Pros : Nice color , Feel , Control , Power and Defense.

Cons: None ( but i would prefer it a little heavy maybe few grams more )

Suitability : Beginner/Intermediate/Advance. Singles racket.

Unfortunately i don't know how much is the racket. I try to find out how much. My guess is that it should be around 100dollar or less. Not sure.

Looks very similar to the NS8000. :p I would assume this is YY's version of the NS. Thanks.

How odd, they have a NS90 when Yonex doesn't have a NS9000 and it came out before the NS80? And yeah, a review would be nice ...

To : Mr. Dinkalot & Mr. DreamZZ

For me, the best string for this Nano-Sensation 90 is strung with BG-80 at 24Ibs. Smashing Feel : Damn nice.

Basically, this is an easy to use racquet eventhought the first impression of the shaft is at the stiff side but you will feel the shaft is quite flex and not as stiff as the Cabonex 20 Special especially when you are trying to return the shuttle from your mid-court back to your's opponent back-court.

Balancing point : I would said it is slightly head heavy.
Frame design : Isometric "Aero" frame.
Cone design : C.S. cap
Paint-works : I rated 8/10 because I don't like the paint finishing at the c.s.cap looks like very "Cheap-Plak" sticker BUT the shaft finishing is great.(Woven look)

P/s : For better smashing feel, add 2 lead tape at 2' & 3' o clock will improve your shuttle speed AND don't expect this racquet fabricated with nano-carbon.

VALUE OF MONEY : 8.5/10

Hey ants, i do have a YangYang Nano Sensation 60. It's definitely a head light racket. Just wondering what's the difference between this two. If i can remember, i bought it for around RM150. I guess yours should be slightly more expensive. Yeah, i can definitely feel the whipping effect and it's a forgiving racket. I guess the Nano Sensation is highly recommended for it's price and features.

I hope the Yangyang Nano models are NOT as fragile as the Yonex Nano series (at least, the earlier batches).

Sorry guys. In terms of the price i'm not sure. I was given 2 rackets for test and reviews. If you want to know more about the prices you can go to www.yangyang-rg.com and ask them.

Khwong : I haven't tried NanoSensation60 as well as the NanoSensation90. So i can't give you any feedback on these 2 rackets.

Hi Ants, are you some kinda professional racquet critic? If you don't mind, may i ask what do you get out of reviewing racquets? Do they pay you a sum of money or do they give you free racquets?

Ants

Would this Nano 80 racquet be suitable for doubles play as well?

I decided know. I will buy YangYang racquet... :)

I just have to pick up between nano70, 80 or 90.
In my catalog is written that Nano80 is defensive racquet and that 70 and 90 are for attack.
If you look on this page a little more down there is a graf where is written that also nano80 is attacking racquet.

Ants: So you think that this is a good racquet for money compare to Yonex?
