I cannot find any data so I would like to suggest the following figures for consumption of badminton equipment :
Total No. players/consumers :
1) N America-2 %
2)EU(England,Sweden,Denmark,Germany)-25 %
3)Asia (Msia,Ina,China,Japan)- 72 %
Total : 99 %
Total Tunover/Profits
1) N America- 10 %
2) EU - 30 %
3) Asia- 59 %
Total 99 %
This is assuming that there are few N American consumers but they may buy/change equipment every month and purchase all the high end products, whilst EU consumers buy less because
of relatively higher prices whilst Asian countries like Singapore,
Japan may spend like Americans but the majority may only buy equipment once every few years and mainly low end products.
Maybe this is the foundation of some policies of some equipment makers?
