I am actually listing down all the techniques, that i can possible learn or place in my bag of tricks and placing check marks against it - if i have learned to a moderate degree on how to execute the movement.
Since I am a beginner- I am just focusing on the ForeHand & BackHand category movement. Please correct guys or add a movement in its category if i missed anything out.

Btw: i donot have much money to afford a good coach - as pointed out a couple of times by friends, and the forums here. i aint wanting to achieve national level of play but good enough to have opponents enjoy their games with me in a competetive manner(do not mind me speelingg :confused: ) totally punted out in this department. just have enough to get me online and read resources and download videos to evaluate. so just accept my sincere thanks for any help extended.

sorry that i cant answer your question because i i just started. i was wondering where do you download badminton video because i searched for them everywhere online and i cant find em.

1. google emule.
2. download software from emule site.
3. install emule software.
4. configure if u have a proxy, otherwise skip 4, go directly to 5
5. in the search type badminton.

I don't really understand the angles thing. What's a 90? Is that parallell to the ground? If so I don't think I've ever played a shot like that!

Be aware that each of your shots can be further split. Clears for example can be split into attacking clears and defensive clears depending on their trajectory. An attacking clear has less height on it for obvious reasons.

I'd say you should buy a book on the subject because the first stage is to get the different grips right. Your shots won't improve if your grip is faulty. You might even hurt yourself by using the wrong grip.
