I got an invitation to attend TC/UC in Japan. I still have not made up my mind yet weather i'm going or not. Schedule is a little hectic. Just want to know anyone who is also going to attend the TC/UC? So maybe can meet up if ever i decide to go.

as far as other BC member who are going there, if i'm not mistaken, Viper2005(Paul) mentioned in another post, that he plans to go there as well..If he does go, perhaps you can meet up with him there..

Its Thomas and Uber Cup. Definately not as a player. HAhaha how i wish.. Just a guest , tour around and hopefully gain some knowledge about badminton related stuffs . No money to make when i'm there. But i'm sure i will definately be able to see and meet alot of new people.

Do you have the schedule of the matches that held in Sendai?

Basically the prems is in Sendai City Gymnasium on 28th of April - 1st May then the Finals will be in Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium 3rd – 7th May. I don't have the full details of the Matches and time yet.

If i'm going my trip would be 27th April - 9th May.

Ants has his way. He has many friends in high places. The VIP treatment is worth quite a bit but I wonder whether his flight and accommodation will be sponsored as well? ;)

Recently I tried to obtain some MCG badminton tickets from the internet but some were not available. I approached our local SBA who referred me to BA (Stuart Borrie). As a result I got most of the tickets that I wanted and some last minute orders for my friends too. Actually, I was wondering whether jump_smash is associated with BA. Is js Stuart??? :)

ok, maybe to make it easier and not to sound like i'm playing favoritism and not allowing others a chance or ants a choice of who he will offer the other seat(i'm sure he has 1 in mind), but IMO, the other seat should be reserve for our own Kwun....hehehe:p :) :cool:

I am associated with BA only, through the fact I am with a territory association - ACTBA.

i know i'm not in your shoe, you're probably quite busy, but i would push for a GO...not many people can get a chance/opportunity like you have..plus it's one of the rarest chance in your lifetime to have a special Invitation..

ah, ants gets this opportunity almost every tournament, so it's nothing new or rare for him. :D
if he can't shake lin dan's hand or give reiko a hug in japan, then he can always do it somewhere else, some other time.
