Hi all,

Especially those who are living in Malacca, Malaysia. I will be visiting there about 3 weeks time. Would like to buy rackets, Yonex Armotec defensive 800. I was wondering where is the best place to go to get one. If at all possible how much will it cost in Malaysian ringgit?

popular there has a sports shop....never been there...heard the racquets are really expensive though...and tengkera has 1 too

Having left M'cca for 27 years, it is still the same shop near the police station in Tengkara?

MBA=Malacca Badminton Association......at Tengkera....sorry....but I'm only 15.....not so good at keeping these kinda records...

Thank you so much. I use to go to ACS secondary school. There was a badminton hall near by. It is still there? Where is the sport shop in conjunction to the badminton hall?

that badminton hall IS MBA.....I study at a private school beside ACS...Methodist High School....the MBA sells rackets at good price too...if you are driving and MBA is on the right side of you...just follow the road and there will be a sports shop at the first row of shophouses after MBA...I've never been there though....not sure about the price

Hi there,

Gone back to Malacca. To see my old School ACS. Still the same. Same MBA badminton hall when I was younger about 25, 26 years ago. Prices for badminton rackets are more expensive in Malaysia if you want the lastest models. However got badminton rackets strings and shoes which are only a fraction of prices in comparasion to London.
