its the same racquet. the new red variant is identical to the old blue version in every which way.

I use red 3U Cab21. I think it is really awesome. I really like the feel of this racket. :)

I am not in the position to compare. My old Cab21 is 2U and my new Cab21 is 3U. They do feel different. However, I am not sure whether they differ because of the U or because one is newer than the other.

I really like Cab21, every stroke feels right. :)

You mean the grommets:confused: the black plastic things that the strings run through?

Going missing? not good, helps protect strings running through the holes. very important they are there and in good condition.

Don't worry:) .........Good restringers usually have alot of spare grommets that they should replace during a restring............if he restrings the racket without replacing them...............he is very silly.
The grommets are not expensive either, get new ones, don't put on secondhand, if it is cheap.............replace the whole lot.

You maybe able to get the grommets from another racket to replace the missing ones but..........only if they are in good condition.

Of course you can string to any tension you want, but if it's broken, Yonex will not give you warranty on it.

i have a carb 21 sp, its a good racquet but doesnt feel so great. also when i have just strung it 2 24lbs with bg65 and it deosnt feel as clean when i dtroke the shuttle, and the noise it produces is weird. wat should i do?

ohh... no no my carbonex 21sp is string at 25 pounds now,and if u are afraid, try 24 or 23. it guves u more smashing power and deeper controL.,...and plus, i like the feel of it~

Naw, Cabs are strong. I've strung Cab20-30 at 27/30lbs. with absolutely no problems. I've even strung a Cab 9 at 25/28lbs. with no problems. :D

wow thats pretty good, here suggesting that is insanity. one of the other state kids use a nanopseed and when he suggested 29lbs everyone looked at him funny. also lately since ive strung mine at 24 the frame vibrates more, is that a technique error or the actual racquet?

ive been using this racquet for about a year and a half. i swapped from an ashaway muscle power. i didnt get any vibration at the beggining only lately
