Hi. I like to use yonex supergraps but they tend to get dirty very quickly. Is there a way to wash it without taking it off the racket so that it looks semi-new again?

A better way is to wash your hand more often, such as wash in between games... However, the grip is very cheap, especially if you order in bulk.

Just re-grip or buy new grips. Why bother wasting time to wash your grips.

Washing them would also wear them out more too. Replace the grip which everyone else would recommend.

Agree, leaving the grip on too long will promote bacteria growth. :p

Of course! Badminton is about the sport as well as promoting health; partly the reason why many play. So it's indirectly on topic.

OK, what's next? How about FOOOOOOOOD? I'm hungry. :p :D

What about wearing gloves when you play? That'll keep the grip dry, but you'd need to wash your gloves.

Cost aside, another issue is that we are making a lot of garbage if we replace grips a lot. Heck, we make a large of garbage because of how fast shuttles become unusable.

Probably the best choice is to use cut your towels to make grips and wash them if you don't want to have to buy new overgrips.

How are you going to stick the towel grip back on the handle? You will need tape, more "garbage". :p I, like many others, cannot use towel grips. If I were to do so, the racket would fly out of my hand. As to wearing gloves, I know a couple of people that do this. But they concede they have no touch, it's just for "power" and protecting their hands from blisters. As they improve, they concede using a glove will be a major hinderance for skill shots.

Throwing out tape isn't as bad as throwing out synthetic grips with tape.
