Hi,

I'm pretty sure this question has been asked before, well I recently purchased an MP-99 from www.mybadmintonstore.com (http://www.mybadmintonstore.com) and they told me it was and MP-99 SP well i dunno whats the difference between SP rackets and normal ones, also has anyone else purchased a racket from there, I'm scarred its a fake(thats the only reason i held back on buying SP rackets before[I thought they were fake]) but the racket is 50 US dollars cheaper than i can find it anywhere else... i could resist haha so anyways, can someone explain the difference between SP rackets and non-SP rackets, and if someone could tell me if the rackets sold at that store seem fake.

Thanks a bunch,

Robin

The question has been discussed heavily before and you can easily find 10+ threads by search.

sp means special power

you will get extra bang per swing and tight netshot

it also have magical property that would produce an illusion toward your opponent for you to win easier and make line judges to go blind on your tight shots

the racket, even stated a weight, sp will counter the gravity pull so that you won't feel any weight when you hold your racket

it is cheaper b/c sp rackets are made by god, hence there wouldn't be any production frontier problem, they drop down to the ground in the amazon forest, or you can produce them by chopping a sp racket and plant it into the ground, in 3months time they will grow into a tree, and another 3months serval yonex flowers will appear

ps. use the search function...

I'd gotta get my hands on that racket. Does it come with a glow in the dark function so I can play in the dark? =] I've heard rumors that racket can turn into a guitar and a motorcycle as well.

Now back to the question just so that poor soul isn't confused. SP initials is just where it's manufactured. SP= Singapore, JP= Japan, CN= China and so forth. Doesn't necessarily mean it's fake. I have a racket with a SP on it too.

No, it should be distributed

So far, there were quite a few positive reviews about www.mybadmintonstore.com, and i believe they sell real stuff. The SP is the distribution code, just same as US. Since this store is based in HK, I won't be surprised that their stock have HK/SP/CP etc distribution code.

On a side note, 1 of my friends recently ordered a MP99 from them. He was told the 99 is temp. out of stock (2 weeks). Not sure if also applies to your order or not. Better ask and make sure. ;)
