Everyone is giving it too much praise for nothing. They cost too much and some do not even perform to the standards of conventional graphite rackets. So please, do not overplay the abilities of the titanium racket. No offence Patrick. Haha.

Patrick 07-24-2000, 03:20 PM
: Personally, I am not an advocate of Titanium rackets. I personally haven't tried that racquet, but Ashaway tends to make very good, and extremely underrated badminton equipment. Titanium? Well hard to say how much benefit there is. Can't say I'm a big fan of the Ti10, Ti8, or Ti5 all of which I've tried. Ti8 is probably my personal preference, but with no direct graphite racquet for comparison, it's hard to say whether there is much benefit. For the Ti900 series, compared to the Swing power series, the Ti seems to be slightly more stable, power is hard to compare.
Ti10 does seem to be quite fragile though, having heard of many breakages, and I've seen a Ti5 and two Ti8s broken quite easily.

Byro-Nenium 11-29-2000, 04:12 AM Hi there, does anyone know where i can see pictures of the Ashaway badminton racket series? |
