Must be real. The cone code's date sounds real too, because the new batch of ArcSaber10's were mostly produced around Febuary if you've bought it a few days ago. I've also bought a racquet from Sports Authority in Osaka, an MP40 for 14000yen or so.
Did you have your racquet strung there ? Did they use one-piece stringing ? Just wondering.. :rolleyes:

Yonex high-end rackets do not have a string on it.
Exactly. Maybe I was being too vague :p
When racquets are bought in Japan, the shopkeepers usually asks us whether we want our racquets strung or not, because it is originally unstrung when it's still on the shelf. So I asked:

Did you have your racquet strung there(at the shop right after buying it)? Did they use one-piece stringing ?
It seems like that most shops in Japan use one-piece stringing too..

Counterfeits. How reliable are they. How much are they worth? How much did the victium who bought it pay for it? I guess these are the questions you should ask yourself if you feel, especially for the person who spent the money assuming that it a genuine racket.
