I was curious if one of them was fake, because the top of the shaft of both racquets differed in the shade of purple. There was more purple in the old one and it was a bit brighter. The second one had less purple at the top of the shaft.

I am sure you are fully aware that Leehsim can only check the current serials and not the old ones.

For an instant when I looked at your post, it did look like a mistake/incomplete information but the bold number did give me a bit of a hint that it was an old code. With the above mention, the inquiry could of had more clarification that it is old code.

Chances are, is that it is real because the counterfeiters did not go crazy until the new codes were out.

For an instant when I looked at your post, it did look like a mistake/incomplete information but the bold number did give me a bit of a hint that it was an old code. With the above mention, the inquiry could of had more clarification that it is old code.

Chances are, is that it is real because the counterfeiters did not go crazy until the new codes were out.

durability is also an issue as counterfeit rackets do not last very long. the material used is very cheap unlike genuine products.
