At first I thought it was a fake racket, but then I wondered if I had been the designer of that fake racket, would I have made such a simple mistake? :rolleyes:! You could take better flash pictures that it doesn't look like that. Especially with a hardwood floor. Try taking it on a surface which does not reflect as much, like a carpet.

SP rackets genuines. The one you have in this instance is a counterfeit because you did not shop at a Yonex Authorized Dealer or a reputable source which does sell genuine rackets.

Both the shaft serial 6107959 and cone code 150113CP (date 15 Jan 2001)are invalid for Armortec 900 Power because this model was released in Jan 2007 starting with shaft serial of 6621139 and cone code of 15017xCC (date=15 Jan 2007).

IMHO, Yonex ARMORTEC 900 POWER of shaft serial: 6107959 cone code : 150113CP is a fake.Another silly error made by me. It should be 2883700.

You should do a search on the serial and the 6th digit on the date code. As for leeshim checking the legitimacy of the racquets, I'm pretty sure he does not have information on every racquet made. Once you get enough racquets in a list, it becomes easier to check whether or not a certain serial and date code is valid or not. However, even if its valid, it does not mean that the racquet is genuine.

For the date code, it only applies to racket made from year 2000 and on. Rackets made before year 2000 does not apply because they had a different system.

As for the current system it's this.

ddmmy? Think of it as dd/mm/y/?

dd = day
mm = month
y = year
? = unknown, possibly a batch number, so you can disregard this.
