someone verified the EXACT same shaft serial as yours a page or two back. did you make a new account because you both have the same location? if so, you're looking to get yourself in trouble here.

So, who will explain this? dinesh1987 or naveen_uta? :(

I just looked to see if that seller had any more items up and he didn't. I don't know whether he's ceased trading, but I wouldn't be complaining if he had. It'd be one less seller of fakes and that can only be a good thing.

Dan - He's still selling:

Item numbers - 250341434711, 250341789383, 260331444215

Three Arc10 ranging from GBP22-GBP43 with 14hrs to 2+days to go on a BIN (Buy-it-Now)

There may be more as I've only had a quick look. Burgers like that are not put of by one or two negs. In any case they probably have 2 or 3 other IDs lined up in case their primary iDs get NARU'ed.

Thanks so much for your help. Suddenly got paranoid when i noticed that in pictures, the Technique imprint on the top part of the head was eminent, but looking at the racket itself right now, it's quite pale.

Is it possible that the Technique print reflects in pictures leading to higher visibility?

Thanks a lot again. :D

This one looks suspicious unless you copied the shaft serial incorrectly. If you compare the shaft serial to rackets that have been confirmed, the shaft serial on a racket made on this date (Oct. 25, 2008) should have a much larger shaft serial.

Lol well thank you. I have a question though: Is there a different "Serial number" for every racket? I understand that 20$ is extremely cheap, but you never know right? I've looked at many of the online tests and my racket has passed every one of them. I would feel much more comfortable if there was a way of testing if my racket had a unique serial number though. Please let me know!

It is true that they are unique but counterfeiters can copy that. Just because it has a valid serial/date code does not mean it is genuine. I just don't see how a genuine racket that sells for ~$150usd or maybe even more can be bought for $20.

I understand that buying a racket for 20$USD and then asking if it is authentic or not can seem a bit strange. But if a racket remains in reasonably perfect condition after many hours of gameplay, respects all the code/design imprints and looks identical to any other NS9000 racket in retailer stores, then I can assume it's authentic?

I understand that buying a racket for 20$USD and then asking if it is authentic or not can seem a bit strange. But if a racket remains in reasonably perfect condition after many hours of gameplay, respects all the code/design imprints and looks identical to any other NS9000 racket in retailer stores, then I can assume it's authentic?
I'm not sure what you mean by that. I mean, I have heard stories of people who break their genuine Yonex racket the first day they bought it but that does not mean they bought a counterfeit though. You can get lucky and could have bought a better counterfeit but at $20, it is far from genuine.

Oh I understand. Lol so maybe I have a very good quality fake. It still bugs me though. I wish there was an ultimate way of knowing exactly if my racket was yonex authentic or not.

There is enough information on BCF for you to tell. Just try searching for it.

I compared it to a TW coded Arc 10. The paint on the JP is smoother. I think one of them is fake
According to my list of Yonex rackes made in Japan;
For the cone code of 251082JP (date=25 Oct 2008), the valid shaft serial should be beyond 8000000.

For the shaft serial of 7232385, the valid cone code should be something like 31107xCC (date=31 Oct 2007).

IMHO, your Yonex arc Saber 10 of shaft serial 7232385 cone code 251082JP is a fake.

Oh, I suppose that would be a good way of presenting the facts. It's getting pretty late here though, so I might post them sometime tomorrow. The only problem is that my overgrip is covering the "CH" from 200675CH, but I could remove it for the sake of presentation.
Well I should get going now. I guess I'll get my Serial number/Cone code verification tomorrow. Thanks again guys, goodnight.

Firstly, Leeshim doesn't check rackets purchased on Ebay, secondly, consider this; an Arc7 is a racket that retails at a price of over £100 (GB). You have bought this one for $30 (£20 GB?). Can it be genuine? Would anyone offer 80% discount on a very desirable product?

Thirdly, I can tell you that you bought a fake as the cone code is nonsensical. It should read DDMMY?DC. This means the first two digits are the day of the month the racket was made. 22 is perfectly reasonable. The second two digit set (digit 3 and 4) denotes the month the racket was made. 88 is nonsensical, there is no 88th month. The 5th digit denotes the year. The Arc7 is a very recent racket. Yours was supposedly made in 2002. As you can see, things aren't looking good. The 6th digit remains a mystery. Nobody outside of Yonex knows what it really means. The two letters are a distribution code. SP means South Pacific and is perfectly reasonable. Other common distribution codes include: UK, FR (France), US (USA), CH (China) and CN/CP (Chinese team). There are many others though. Google is your friend on this matter. Use reputable shops/sellers and chances are, you'll get a genuine racket.

I hope my information will help you buy a legitimate racket in the future.

As I said to someone else before, you should be fine with a CD coded racket. I think the same applies to US codes to. The most commonly faked racket distribution codes are SP, CH and JP. You paid a price that is to be expected for high end rackets from a site that seems OK. They aren't only selling Yonex either. All of these are good signs so I think you'll be OK.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Armortec 700 Shaft Serial:7222844; Cone Code:261078SP (date=26 Oct 2007) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Thanks sir for your help, really appreciate it, and have a blissful new year.

the rackets that have been verified shows that the racket that you have should have a much bigger serial for a one that is made on that specific day

Agreed.

Balov, a Yonex cone code actually means something and this can help too determine the authenticity of the racket. The first 2 digits refer to the day the racket was made. The second pair refer to the month the racket was made in and the 5th digit shows the year the were made in. The 6th digit remains a mystery and the two letters are a distribution code.

racket model: Yonex ArcSaber 10
shaft serial: 7395408
cone code : 181182JP
source : bought from a friend
price : CD$175

According to my list of Yonex rackes made in Japan;
For the cone code of 181182JP (date=18 Nov 2008), the valid shaft serial should be beyond 8060000.

For the shaft serial of 7395408, the valid cone code may be something like 23018xCC (date=23 Jan 2008) or 24018xCC (date=24 Jan 2008).

IMHO, your Yonex Arcsaber 10 of shaft serial 7395627 cone code 181182JP (date=18 Nov 2008) is a fake.

this is not the right place for ebay bought racquets.
but i would say all your arcsabres are fake going by the serial numbers.
it is hard to tell whether your at700 is fake though.
best thing to do is to post some pictures of your racquets, particularly showing the cone and the serial numbers and we'll be able to tell for sure.

the shop is an authorised yonex stockist..
actually i asked for NBG-95 but they strung me a wrong string (BG 65 Ti), they offer re-string for my racket for free next time as appologies. (shall i post this out? just wanna let you know more detail, will erase it later)

btw..can i ask a question other than the cone or shaft number?
i saw many racket picture online, the 3U|19~24lbs G3|8.5~10.5kg are in a sticker, but the racket i bought is like what they did to cone and shaft number.. and yet the alphabert and the number are in different size..so.. i wondering is this the new tech or just another fake racket? quite impossible to be a fake because the UK yonex official website wrote that always buy from authorised stockist to make sure get the genuine racket...

i have a photo here.

Well I am using the fake Arc 7 atm and been using for a few weeks now. Restrung yesterday with 25lb, still feels ok and still in one piece. Thats what I meant by good counterfeit. The second is that it looks so much like the one I see at the sports store. Maybe I will just go in and swap it around haha.......
