I know it's two singapore dollars to one euro. One GB pound is about 1,10 euro now.
You can convert currencies @ www.xe.com so S$185 = $130 US dollars and S$279 = $197 US. Plus you pay a little extra for conversion costs when you buy @ MBS since you have to pay in US dollars (foreign currency, but I think you already know. I think it's about 3% at paypal?)

As told by "LD rules!", I can't verifu without the the full cone code.
Anyway your Yonex Nanospeed 500 should be valid beacuse no fake racekt manufacturers bother to make low-end Yonex racekts Made in Taiwan or China as they are not worth their effort with low profit to be made.

Your Post #8811 indicate you wanted to verify the shaft serial of 8395334 source from Fellow forum member - Sydney. Of which I informed you that I have verified valid for alana07 as linked.
Now, your above post indiates another Armortec 700 of shaft serial 8395333 source from another Fellow forum member - but from Singapore.
By logic, 8395334 is verified valid, then 8395333 should be valid also.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Arcsaber Z-slash shaft Serial:8691656; Cone Code:120892SP (date=12 Aug 2009) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Hi leehsim
Thanks for that, and sorry for the noob queries.

there is another thread for enquiry, "Identify Fake Racket"
hi drifit.
i just want to make sure the racket that i'm going to buy isn't fake.
i would rather be safe better than sorry.
what is the point of buying a racket without knowing it is genuine or fake?
by the way, the seller replied me. he said that he can only found 6841932 on the racket, not cone code. i guess it's fake.

1. did you read the thread title?
2. did you read the first(1st) post? the very first few lines?
3. did you care to look at this page (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=235) which i mentioned? the top is this sticky thread. bottom/below is where you can create new thread to ask or enquire before or after purchase.
it is not only me keep repeating the above phrases. most of members here to help are keep repeating themselves. you may read through all these pages in this thread, we even argued almost 100-200 times regarding what you said on top here.

demolidor has answered you in nice manner. leehsim will not verify purchases made from ebay. we have ebay enquiries(purchases) in the other thread(read page 1, post 1). demolidor has been nice, if others, it will be more harsh. one can notice few members here are quite active in this thread to help, keep repeating themselves all over, again and again, sometimes we just post short statement.

Cleggmeister,
If I were spending that same money, I would put it toward a product that is genuine in general. (ie. lets say, same money to a genuine blu-ray disc player)
Since the money was put into something counterfeit, the actual counterfeit item's cost would be signficantly less or to no value at all. Because the value in this case is not significant, it probably did not really affect you as much, however the value is significant, then it will hurt. It is basically being cheated or burned regardless of price.

...ehm, can you show me where i can get a genuine blu-ray disc player fo 55 dolla??..used one? maybe one missing a knob or a button??..
Opps looks like I typed it too quick and missing some words. What I am trying to say is to put that same money toward a genuine blu-ray disc or product in general.
I didn't mean to imply that a, blu-rayplayer is for 55. However I do personally own high-end blu-ray disc player which is worth around $500 USD.

The reasons why i think its fake is because of a little imperfection in the paintjob around the sides of the main frame and some badly done grommets (most of them are ok)...my friend also sed that he had bought it off a guy from the US BUT was shipped and manufactured from thailand...that sounds odd to me...0_0...

The link you provided is invalid as it links to someone's Ebay store.
Ask yourself, do you think you can really get a genuine racket for that price? It's more like saying, lets buy this TV (which is worth $5,000), for less than $2,500).

Hi, could you please tell me whether this Yonex racket is a fake or not? I already checked all other features, so far it seems to be genuine. Thank you very much!
a.) You didn't read the first post
b.) Are you really gonna trust a private seller that uses a standard photo taken of the yonex website
Pleas help me check this! Thank you very much!

racket model: Yonex ArcSaber Z Slash
shaft serial: 8707079
cone code : 210892TH
source : Gift from a friend who didn't like it coz it was too stiff for him he said
price : he sold it to me for $AU 230
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
The reasons why i think its fake is because of a little imperfection in the paintjob around the sides of the main frame and some badly done grommets (most of them are ok)...my friend also sed that he had bought it off a guy from the US BUT was shipped and manufactured from thailand...that sounds odd to me...0_0...
Looks fine compared to this http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif
I have checked in the information of your Yonex
1) Arcsaber Z-slash shaft Serial:8707220; Cone Code:210892SP (date=21 Aug 2009) ;
[COLOR=#0000ff]to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, their shaft serials and cone codes are legitimate.
[COLOR=royalblue]However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Britar.....
a) It's fake
b) this isn't an enquiry thread
c) it's from ebay which means (i) it's probably fake regardless and (ii) leehsim won't verify it (even if you can provide the serial no, which you can't)
Playing the old record again, why do you think someone will sell you a $200 racket for $90?

I did read the first post, please tell me what in particular I didnt pay attention to. I do own the racket, I provided all required information. Furthermore, the date code seems to be legit.
The seller confirmed to me its a legit JP model, so I'd be really happy to know what I bought - and maybe get the seller off eBay.

1) We usually do not verify the racquet(s) purchased from eBay.
2) Master D was nice enough to tell you why no one will respond to your inquiry.
3) Please read the first post again. You can figure out the racquet is real or fake yourself from your ser# and cone code using the info from the first post.
4) Just think when was your racquet first introduced. Does the codes make sense?
5) PS, I like Germans...

Well, using the information in the guide I understand that the serial is given in the format: DDMMYXCC
This would be 25th of August in 2009. Does not sound suspicious to me.
And yeah, it was my fault not to check before, but that seller has not yet appeared in this forum, it was the first racket he sold - plus he confirmed to me its a legit model. Price -of course- is an issue, but the racket is not strung so I thought many people might just not want to buy a not immediately usable racket.
