I have also checked in the information of your Yonex
1) Muscle Power 25 Serial:7279948; Date Code:110543SP (date=11 May 2004);
2) Armortec 250 Serial:8332477; Date Code:090264SP (date=09 Feb 2006)
to my information list of Yonex rackets Developed by Yonex Japan (on the shaft) and made in Taiwan (on the cap), their serial nos. and date codes are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
Can you tell me more detail.I am asking you about two racket.Which one is made in taiwan and which one is developed by Yonex.Thanks you.

All low end yonex rackets are made in taiwan and developed in Japan.
Therefore , the AT 250 and MP 25 is the one that's made in taiwan and developed in Japan.

thanks Dreamzz. I just found the feeling of no. 2 (Isometric Ti Swing Power, blue color) is a bit different from my another racket of the same model. It's stiffer, but not much. I bought it as to have a spare one. If it is fake, I think I will try to return to my friend. He told me it was bought from Thailand, he may not know it is fake. It sold over US$200 for a new in HK.
I bought no. 4 (Isometric Tour 800) in 2001. It's quite old.

hmmmm, 2001 is not really that old to be off the new serial system. unless of course it's from an old stock of racquets but only sold to you a number of years later.

#4 is under the old serial system (before 2000). Most likely it is real because the counterfeits started comming after 2000 when Yonex went to laser engraves with the new (current) serial system.

Can you specify which 900s you exactly have (SA/SR/SS/SX)?
The first 900 is under the old serial system most likely. (pictures if possible)
The second 900, is probably real but will wait for Leehsim to check it. I do have a few 900s myself and your serial is lower than mine because I have 2003 and 2004 production dates.

25th of August 2006. However the date code and serial does not correlate with each other which makes it counterfeit instantly.

It's instantly counterfeit because AT900's did not exist in year 2000 as we all know.

It's a 3UG4. The dots and slashes on the end cap are slightly raised from the green cap - I had the impression from other photos they were always flat.

Coule someone help me? I bought a NS 9000 and NS 7700 in Harbin, China, in a non-retail store. I wonder if they are genuine because the seller didn't give me a warranty card, and because he sold it at 950 RMB each (retail stores all sell it at 1350 to 1690 RMB). Also, they have SP codes. Aren't SP codes famous for fake rackets on eBay?

Yes, if the first two digits are greater than 31, or the third and forth digit are greater than 12, or both, then it's fake for sure.

I have re-checked the serial and date code. They are correct. I think the NS7700 may be fake, because the YY logo on the T-joint is not perfectly centered and is a bit tilt.

shaft serial: 5966995
cone code : 160262SP
source : unknown shop name, Harbin (China)
price : 950 RMB (approx. $125 US)
Thanks to your reply
For the Nanospeed 9000 Type-S, the valid serial no. for the date code 160262SP (date=16 Feb 2006) should be around 5977700;
and the valid date code of serial no. of 5966995, the date should be around 24 Feb 2006.
racket model: Yonex Nanospeed 7700
shaft serial: 6469912
cone code : 290962SP
source : unknown shop name, Harbin (China)
price : 950 RMB (approx. $125 US)
For the Nanospeed 7700 the valid serial no. for the date code 290962SP(date=29 Sep 2006) should be around 6436000;
and the valid date code of serial no. of 6469912 the date should be around 20 Oct 2006.
IMHO, both the two Yonex rackets' authenticity is doubtful.

If you did pay, you can still report him to Ebay and also inform the payment company about it (ie. Paypal).

Hi
Could you please do me the favour of checking these serial numbers.
racket model: Yonex Armortec 900 Technique
shaft serial: 6768037
cone code : 190372JP
source : www.shuttle-house.com (http://www.shuttle-house.com), Osaka
price : 175 canadian dollars (without string, without shipping)

Thank you for this favour.
I have checked in the information of your Yonex
1) Armortec 900 Technique shaft Serial:6768037; Cone Date Code:190372JP (date=19 Mar 2007);
2) Muscle Power 90 shaft Serial:6375310; Cone Date Code:300863JP (date=30 Aug 2006)
to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, their serial nos. and date codes are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

sounds like a shopping inquiry. this thread is for those who already own the racket(s).
what's wrong with 4U? too light?
Well in general, yes and it's also more fragile because of less material. Also the 4U of the AT800's has a tendency to overswing.
You can get 4U if you want, it was just my expression at the time I posted.

Ok, well I committed to buying this racquet, so I might as well say I own it, I just need to pick it up. It sounds like a small technicality of "shopping question" vs "owning the racquet question" if you ask me. Isn't it too late to find out that it's fake after I buy it anyways?
Could someone please check now? Thanks for your efforts. I really do appreciate this service.

It is most lokely a FAKE; I cannot state for a fact that it is a FAKE because stranger things have happened. Anyways, the date code has too many numbers in it. 1200462CH relates to 12-00-4-6-2???:rolleyes:; Even if its
12-04-6-2, it is still most likely a FAKE.

just to add a brief background about them, the first MP-88 i got about 2 years ago at local shop in taiwan...the 2nd MP88 got about 1.5 years ago on an online auction site..and the last 2 (mp88 and mp45) i just got them last week at their respective websites listed above..however because the auctions ended already, the last racket's page can't be viewed unless you have a yahoo account or email address to log in...so here's another page where he is selling the same racket he sold me http://tw.f5.page.bid.yahoo.com/tw/auction/e21071743?u=victor2e
thanks :)

racket model: Yonex NS9000 X
shaft serial: 6557956
cone code : 160964JP
source : friend owns racket
For the date code of 160964JP (date=16 Sep 2006), the valid serial no. on the shaft should be near 6412600.
For the serial no. of 6557956, the date should be close to 6 Dec 2006.
IMHO your Yonex NS9000 X of serial 6557956; date code 160964JP is a fake.
