As for your question, do you know that Indonesia is one of the most humid country in the world? on average is 90-95% humidity(if i'm not mistaken). Where are you going to use it anyway? Which country could be more humid than INA? shaun 05-08-2001, 09:39 PM ari is indonesian! cooler 05-08-2001, 10:10 PM that's why feather shuttles last so long per game in INA Welly Tandoko 05-09-2001, 10:22 PM actually, i'm gonna use it in Seattle, WA USA how to find out the best climate for the shuttlecocks? how if we use like Saxon, Indocock, Gadjah Mada or other shuttlecocks that are generally used in INA, anyone has an experience about that? Welly Tandoko 05-09-2001, 10:26 PM does anybody know anybody who is till selling Aerotus rackets? is it not produced anymore or what's the deal? hehehe thx 4 the reply u guys! David 05-09-2001, 11:46 PM The shuttlecock made in Indonesia will not last long. It will become very brittle. The feather will break apart easily. I have tried the top-of-the-line Garuda International and Gadjah Mada. It's just not made for the dry weather here in California. If Seattle is humid, it might works. In CA, people complain about the durability and cleaning up the court after couple of points. Not recommended for any dry place. DSC Welly Tandoko 05-10-2001, 02:08 PM i heard that by humidifying the shuttlecocks we could prolong the lifespan of the shuttlecocks, is it true? i havent had a chance to try it yet, but i will soon. anyway, i found out that Seattle is more humid (86%) (or should i say humider) compared to Surabaya or Jakarta (63%). look in yahoo :) |
