fun teaching drills for cross court shots

i am wanting some drills for my 9th grade girls to get them to use cross court shots. they tend to hit it just back and forth to one another all the time... suggestions?????

good drill for cross court shots or just court coverage in my opinion :

4 corners : lift it to them back right corner, make them cross court drop (if thats what you want), drop it front left, make them drop it back to you, lift it to them back left corner, make them cross court drop to the right, drop it front right, make them drop it back to you, lift it to them back right corner, so on and so forth

also you can use an open small box and let that your students throw the shuttle into the box, it is a bit difficult but funny, increase you aim.
