I was wondering....whats a good repulsive string?
I want a sting thats good for smashing! All i have used so far is bg65, rally21Ti, gosen bottom end, carlton OEM strings and bg80. I obviously havent had much experience with strings, so i need a bit of help. I'll be getting an mp100 soon and i want to know what kind of string is best for it.

There is a string recommendation section in the Yonex Japan website for each of the racquets showcased there and for a type of playing style. Of course they will all be Yonex strings.

I find bg-70 is perfect for plastic if you play with plastic. I've been using this string for years and bg-80 for feather.

BG 68-Ti is supposed to have the best repulsion, i find it just that. Its a great string for smashing. Feels weird at first, but after use will feel like any other string.

I usually try to find the characteristics an equipment has that I don't have or I am weak at. In short, I look for equipment that complement my playing style. I would say that I'm a heavy smasher but I can smash effectively with any string put on the racquet so I use a string designed for control and feel. That goes the same for the racquet I use, the slim-10. I can smash with any racquet but this one gives me the control I am weak at.

hmmm thats wot i've always thought...that the bg68ti was a good smashing string, but for some odd reason henry(harry on this forum), keeps saying its a control string! how can it be, when its so slippery.

hey! i never said itz a control string, and i dun even knows itz slippery. i just read from aaron's string catalog string recommandations for rackets and for the new rackets it always say....Offensive: BG65ti Defensive: BG68ti so i thought the bg68ti is a string that gives good control, it's just my assumption....

bg70 is just as good as bg68ti go waste the extra few bucks if you want ti.

to harry: sorry lor, aaron's catalogue is stupid.
to don: okay, i wont waste the extra money, i dont care for the stupid ti coating.....and bg70 is more durable anyway! 0.02mm thicker
