For those who may buy badminton products in HK, just let you know that Luxis has recently setup a buying channel from Japan to import Yonex products. They said that it only takes around 1 week to ship a product from Japan.

p.s. I will like to order the SHB95 very soon (still not decide whether to buy the LOW or MID version). According to Yonex Web site, Roslin, Candra and Sigit had weared the SHB95LOW in Japan Open this year.

That is great Ricky. :) You are HK's "day dam." Translate. :) I'm heading to HK next Sunday and with plenty of time to order from Luxis. :) Only thing I am sure right now is the racquet bag but shoes and racquet have not decided yet. Mizuno or Yonex shoes, Ti-10, Ti SP, MP100, or ISO750 Muscle?

Unfortunately they don't have Web site yet. The only way to contact them so far is by phone and fax.

For typical Yonex product, there is no reason to order from them if you can find it in Singapore. However, they can help to order those Japan only products from Japan, e.g. SHB95, T-shirts, BG88Ti, etc. Of course, the price won't be cheap.

No stock for SHB95 in HK so far as it is very expensive, no one is willing to stock it up until someone order it.

The difference b/w LOW and MID ... let see it yourself :

Yudhi,
You can get the SHB-90 in Singapore at about S$80-$90.
You should be able to find it at Hougang Sports Hall or Bras Basah Complex.
I don't think it is worth paying for the shipping & handling fees if you order from HK.

SHB90 is not generally available in HK, and I think S$80-90 is very cheap. The estimated price for SHB95 should be closed to HK$1,000.

badminton stuff are generally (much) cheaper in HK than in the US. US prices are ridiculous.

the MP100 is cheapest in Singapore.

You are right, so far I couldn't get better price for MP100 in INA.
Other racquets are much much cheaper than in Singapore, I do not know why Singapore prices are better than in INA for mp100.

not sure. one poster also suggested that racket prices are much lower in India... but then, India is a bit far away....

gathering from this loose ended survey, it lead me to conclude, a logical one too, that yonex charges as must as what the market will bear.
