I would like to thank all my awesome customers for standing up for me, I really appreciate that.
Let me first introduce my self. My Name is Ali, I am the Racquet Doctor.
I'm a Certified Master Racquet Technician with the USRSA. What does that mean exactly? Well that is the highest honor that the USRSA can give you, cause you are a racquet expert. I have worked and continue to work with some of the best tennis players in the world as far as their equipment is concerned. I give them advice and help them with their racquet customization as very few of the pro's on tour play with retail versions of their racquets. I have been in the racquet business for over 16 years, I am involved in racquet manufacturing and design. I have my own tennis string label called SUFIX, which has been around for about 12 years.
I have designed and sold over 20 different tennis strings......I know my stuff.

My family was the Yonex Distributor in the Middle East for over 15 years so I have some very good connections with Yonex Worldwide. I have also met a lot of the top Badminton pro's through my tennis friends and have some connections with them. This should be enough information about me.

I decided to post a reply to all these rumors and accusations about me and my business. I was not really aware of this forum, but some of my customers brought tto my attention some of the postings here. I was very surprised and shocked to hear all the "stories" floating around.
I am not an Authorized Dealer of Yonex, I was when we had our 2 stores in Toronto 4 years ago, (I had 2 stores for about 6 years), I have never said I was an Authorized dealer, nor have I advertised it.
I have a warranty policy and honor it all the time, there are very few issues, but the ones that come up I take care of immediately.
Now about the "Fake racquets", if anyone has any and know where I can get some, please let me know, cause I am sure I can make more money than the few bucks I make selling the Real ones!!! (Frustration and Sarcasm here)
I get my racquets through many different sources... am I going to reveal them, NO.
My racquets are all legitimate, any one wants to argue that, call me.......
How come I sell for less? Cause I am an idiot....I love the racquet business and I want to stay in it for as long as I can, this is not my primary job.
I provide a service to people, I make very little on the racquets I sell, I don't get them free you know......
If people do not want to buy from me, well I have not forced you...If you have bought from me and had a problem, I resolved it....if you have a problem, contact me first......I am not here to steal or cheat anyone out of anything!!!!! Lets make that clear....I am not hiding or running away after I sell you a racquet and the $15.00 profit that I make from that $150.00 racquet does not change my life.
I don't want to go into a whole song and dance about racquets or the fake ones, but understand that I know a lot more about racquets than any one on this forum and there are many highly educated people here...they know the marketing stuff...I know the truth.

My business has suffered because of these accusations, just to let everyone know...but that's life. I will fight to keep my customers and reputation....
I think that my advise to people is that, if you find a vendor like my self that has really put him self out there and on the line, then don't worry or be scared to purchase from us, give us a try...if you don't like our products, send it back...we will give you your money back or send you another racquet.
Once again I would like to thank my customers for speaking highly of me, I will continue to get the newest and best racquets at the lowest possible prices for you all. Thank you to Shaun and Don...you guys Rock!!

I will leave all you Badminton Enthusiast with this one question?
When Yonex gives racquets to their Sponsored professionals on the Badminton World Tour, do those racquets have Serial numbers??

Thank you for you time,

Its always good to hear it from the horse's mouth itself. This may not be a bad thing after all for Ali, he got free advertising on the probably the world's most popular badminton website.

I will still however scrutinize all the racquets I buy. Aside from using my keen eye, those "serial numbers" are just one of my cues. Just as a note, there are serial numbers but there are also distribution codes and batch numbers which always get confused for serial numbers, both of which are "photoetched" and are hard to counterfeit.

Just as a disclaimer I have nothing against Ali or his products and services he provides. In fact its a good thing that there exist places that sell racquets cheap; especially badminton racquets in a place like Canada doesn't put that much praise in the sport. Here, I'm just indicating MY criteria for the racquets I purchase. I think everyone here would just like to buy the best equipment so that they can concentrate on their game and not on their racquet.

bambam, where are the photoetched distribution codes and batch numbers located on the racquet? I might be getting these numbers confused myself..

That's really cool. Shaun's a good friend of mine and i trust him. He told me about it...so for everyone, RD's stuff is all real. Shaun gave me a ton of reasons and now RD's given ya all a ton of reasons too =b so respect him here! hehe =b it's really good that he's willing to do all this for the sport. We should all thank him instead of accusing him! Let me be the first to thank you. Thank you Ali for all you've done. You've made many people i know happy because of your products. IF/When my Ti-10 breaks, i'll know who to come to =)

Serial numbers are at the base of the shaft, codes and batch numbers at the top of the handle (the cone shaped part just before the shaft starts, the one with US, TW, etc etc).
