I purchased the MP100 today in Toronto. I bought it without trying the racquet but believe everybody that has posted reviews of the MP100. First, when I picked the racquet, it is well balanced. The head is heavy enough for me but not like the Ti-10 that is extremely heavy. I'm coming from a ISO800 and I feel the MP100 is quite head heavy but perfect for me since I am used to the ISO800 head weight. I must say that the paint finish is spectacular. Love that red. :) Have to find a red grip to go over it. Black strings must look good. :) The head shape is smaller then the ISO800 but the sweet spot is the same size. Only the lower portion of the frame is smaller then the ISO800. Guess I have to get accustomed to the smaller frame. I strung it at 24lbs. and it should be quite powerful. I will use it tomorrow and find out if my investment is worth it. A lot of bills for the MP100 but hope it is as good as my ISO800. I'll report back after I try playing with it.

Purely based my purchase on what everyone has said about this racquet on badmintoncentral. Hope I won't be disappointed. :) Feels good holding it but don't know how it is when I play with it. If it doesn't live up to what everyone says then I will blame it on badmintoncentral. :) Just joking. ;)

you forgot to read badmintoncentral's disclaimer clauses

i should've add after that clause:

<i>unless if you are Yonex and you realized your sales increased as a result of the discussions and you want to send badmintoncentral a large amount of cash as an appreciation.</i>

Agreed. Diversion of small monetary amount in financial support to badmintoncentral from yonex would reap much more return than a fraction of sponsorship spent on so call big name players.

Don't forget, reviewers also need some crediting.

i will demand Yonex to give each reviewer a brand new MP100. how's that?

Geez, thanks kwun. By the time you get support from yonex, i would probably be choosing a MP 9999 instead. :)

Two thumbs up for the MP100. :) I used it tonight and my smashes are much more powerful now. The racquet is very suitable for me. Coming from a ISO800 I must say MP100 gets the edge. Strung with BG75Ti at 24lbs. Awesome power. One thing I didn't like is the sound of the string. Doesn't have the bang of the BG80 or BG68Ti. Drop shots and net plays is not as good as the BG80 or BG68Ti. Now I realize why a lot of players are using higher tension. It does give the extra power. Getting back to the racquet itself. MP100 is very well balanced and just enough head heavy for me. Don't know why people say the MP100 is heavy. It's perfect for me. :) Definitely a good investment. An expensive investment but a good investment. :) Shaun, if I remember from reading on the forum you will be getting a MP100 also. Definitely string the MP100 at 24lbs. minimum.

Geez, thanks cooler, have so little faith on me. :P

but that's the point. see, by then, MP100 will cost a penny each!

No, no, no. It is yonex that i doubt.
By the time i'm 60, i hope i still have 'muscle power' :)
A penny for mp100? i think my pension can afford that.

Whether it is heavy or not depends on what racquets do you compare with.
