Why is the MP77 cheaper than the MP55?

It is not the case in HK. Fyi, MP55 is not available in Japan.

I don't remember seeing MP55 in Japan (just to confirm Ricky's statement). They did have MP70 though.

thats odd, i think that the store owner is stupid "] either that or he wants to rip ppl off! mp55 isnt even long, is just plain graphite and is no good....mp77 has ultimum

I was just referring the opportunity of buying a mp77 cheaper than mp55. It could be mp77 was priced correctly but the mp55 was just mispriced too high. Remember, it is better to buy what fits you and not what's cheap.

Maybe when i get more money i'll get the MP77 but i don't think so. I'm happy with my Slim 10

I will be willing to buy the MP70 if one of you sponsors me.
Since MP70 is only available in Japan, it would be necessary to fly me there to buy it. Offers of free tickets and racquets gratefully accepted and will not affect my conscience.
