Hello everyone. :) New to badmintoncentral. I searched the archives and found that Ricky seems to be the person that knows where all the deals are in HK. So Ricky, I have a question for you. If I go to Luxis and purchase some badminton equipment, if I give your name, would they actually give larger discount? Is it possible for you to let us know your surname? Hope to see a reply soon.

I must stress again - I don't know all the deals in HK, I just visit those shops with badminton equipment sold quite frequently. -:)

For Luxis, they will give me some extra discount because I've bought a lot of things from them so far. In addition, Mr. Ng (the owner of the shop) is my coach as well. You can try to tell them you are net friend of Ricky (they will know which Ricky, please only do so when you see Mr. Ng or his wife in the shop). However, whether they will give you more discount is up to them, I really cannot make any gurantee ...

Some tips for you - for those highly priced items (such as Mizuno racquets, stuffs imported from Japan, etc.), there should have some room for price negotiaion, i.e. they are likely to mark up the price higher than average for these items ...

Another tips - you can get more discount by buying more stuffs at once ! -:)

I plan on buying racquet, bag, and shoes. Hence, I think I can have a good chance of bargaining with them with price as I will be buying quite a few items. Thank you very much.
