Which companies are better for rackets and which are better for strings?
I find that Ashaway is more for strings and Carlton is more for rackets.
Yonex is the best at both.
Which companies are better for which?
thanx

Prince makes good racquets and strings.
Babolat overall makes the best strings especially gut, if their badminton racquets are more well known then they'd rule.

I don't know their names off hand, however they can be found on one of Prince's websites.

Come on, that (non-official) page has models which have been out of production for almost a decade!
The current top model would be the Triple Threat Rip.

By top model are you referring to most expensive?
That is the general concensus when people talk about top of the line.
Not necessarily, but yes usually that is the case. The Triple Threat Rip is regarded as the "flagship" in Prince' current badminton line, both performance-wise and price-wise.

is that triple threat mean yonex, calton and forza
Note my careful phrasing in my previous post: "regarded"...
Basically means: so I was told.. :) I haven't played with it, I've only handled it. Some of the Swedish elite players use Prince, and then this seems to be the model of choice. (Plus it IS the most expensive one too...)
It sells for about 1200SEK here, which would be about US$115.
That is Prince's gimmick, bells and whistles, etc...it comes from their tennis technology....there is some inserts at 2 oclock and 10 oclock on the racquet and the butt....the inserts are made of copper, titanium, carbon....provides extra head weight and stablizes against torque...never tried the badminton racquets with this technology but the tennis racquets are very stable...

Triple Threat Rip retails for 76.99 sterling.
For international buyers subtract 17.5%
63.51675
Pretty sweet deal.

Also, the newer Prince Thunder Ultralite Ti is the top of the line Prince badminton racquet. Not TTrip
