Astro is showing Singapore Open's final next sunday.. u can check the time from the astro book...

When I had a flip through the astro book.. astro is repeating the phillipines open n idonesia open semi finals n finals.. but i see no trace of Malaysia Open and Taipei Open.. Mayb they will show it later but temporary it's not on the schedule.

alrite.. here you go guys... according to the astro book... astro is repeating indonesia open semi finals on 17 june, Saturday at.. wow... 1.30 in midnight... :eek: ... Philippines Open semi finals at the same day at 9.30 in the morning...Indonesia Open final on 18 June, Sunday at 2.00 in the midnight n Philippine Open Final on the same day at 9.00 in the morning

Yeah, astro is showing finals only... Im disappointed...

If it is not in astro, I think Msia Open will be broadcasted by RTM for local viewers:D.

I think u r right. They should broadcast the semifinals as well, instead of final only. I tell u what, may be the astro people (their bosses) don't like badminton much. They love to play golf only (even they r worst when playing it). That's why you can see in astro sport channel, every day is a golf day... ie. golf-day1, golf-day2,... golf-day100,...:p then next morning u wake up, then u open astro...golf-day101, golf-day102...!!!

... that's why no Semifinals broadcasted for Badminton, only Finals. Ha...Ha...:D

[if they can broadcast golf from day 1 to day 100, why can't they broadcast badminton matchs for finals & semifinals which only spend 2 days?:confused: ]

Astro is not showing Malaysia Open, not even semifinals... nothing at all... In the future, Astro is also not showing chinese taipei open or watever related to badminton... I'm really frustrated... all they have is golf, golf and golf...

The Astro supersports already filluped on Sat/Sunday schedule so I don't think Astro will be carry Malaysia Open event "live". I think TV1 will, which is very unfortunately consider how lousy the coverage of Asian Badminton Championship was months ago ... Astro should dedicate another sport channel for cases like this which was done during the Olympic.

Lucky for malaysian, MO will be broadcasted live via RTM1 :D. I have checked the programme thru Astro cannel guide for TV1 (RTM1) as follows;

Maybe singapore & brunei fans also can tune his TV to this channel as well (if their antenna reception is good).

Im totally agreed with you... They have shown indonesia open and philippines open but not Malaysia Open.. It was funny.. N they keep showing golf n golf n golf all day... it's not really a sport channel, it's a channel for golf fans
