Yep, Astro is broadcasting both Macau and the coming up Korea Open... Check the shcedule for further details, there should be semifinal and final on this saturday and sunday in the afternoon... But then only some of the malaysian shuttlers are playing, most of them will go for Malacca Open instead. LCW has pretty decent draw and if he's not good enough then he won't be in the final. Macau Open will be the true test for many potential title winner of the coming WC and if Taufik is not ready for Macau then I doubt he will win in WC. GDTV's website (http://www.gdtv.com.cn/newpage/sports/ttdb.asp)shows no badminton this week. CCTV-5 shows something for 1-1/2 hours on Saturday (http://www.cctv.com/tvguide/11/01/20060722/5.shtml) but I can't understand it. It seems to say something like 2006 China national badminton championship competition 3(2006年全国羽毛球冠军赛3), whatever that is. It doesn't say Macau(澳門) anywhere that I can see.
