Judith M VS Wang Chen: Again, Judith made a big surprise! Can she past Wang Chen this time? WC win in 3 tough sets.

Lots of surprise in here too. Paaske who partnered with Boe this time beat the talented Jung/Lee in 3 sets. And another new pair Guo ZD/ Zheng Bo beat the experience Chong/ LEE also in 3 sets.

Lee Jae Jin/Hwang VS Guo/Zheng. I haven’t see these two pairs play. But judging on who they beat before SF, probably Guo/Zheng will win in 3 tough sets.

Another suprises here. I am proud that Jo/Polii lost to Gao/Huang in two really close set. The suprises here is Denmark pair Lena/Kamilla. They beat Taiwan pair in r16 and Japan seeded pair in QF. Can at last Denmark had their successor in WD after Helene K/Rikke Olsen?

Gao/Huang VS Kamila/Lena : Gao/Huang will win.

Zhang YW/ Wei YL VS Lee Lee. Pretty hard to predict who will win. Specially both Zhang YW and Lee Hyo Jung didn’t play Mixed tomorrow. But I say Zhang/Wei win just because I like Zhang YW :D

MIXED DOUBLES

The biggest upset here is Zheng Bo/Yu Yang defeat top seed Lee/Lee in just 2 sets.

Zheng Bo/Yu Yang VS Laybourn/Juhl. Zheng Bo turn out to be pretty decent in MD and good in XD. Meanwhile after a long time Laybourn/Juhl managed to grab a SF place. Zheng Bo/Yu Yang win in 3 sets.

Jung was playing with Lee Jae-jin for most of last year and they won the Thailand Open in 2005.

Event, your knowledge of the Korean players history is amazing. What can you tell about Jung Jae Sung? My impressions are although he is relatively short, he is very explosive and has a very powerful jump smash, and also a bit moody.

That was months ago and they met in the final. LHI's best match has always been in the semi. LD may lose his confidence as he only had sparring semis with his sidekick CJ in MO and CTO.This is going to be a real match and he was stretched by MHH yesterday.Wouldn't be surprised for the two Lees to meet in the final. LHI is possibly the most dangerous MS opponent.

well, it is not an impossibility. chen does hold a lead in the head to heads albeit through victories largely in the past, and lee hyun il certainly does posses the potential to beat lin dan. so even though they may go in as the underdogs, who knows? weirder upsets have already occured in the span of these few days! :D maybe the stars will align to suit the underodgs today? :D

isn't it the case that lee chong wei is now number 1 instead of lin dan partially due to the fact that he has 10 tournaments counting towards his ranking while lin dan only has 9? so if this tournament is added in, their ranking will be more indicative. and, with my amaturish calculations, it would seem that lin dan would regain top spot regardless of the outcome of this match. right? :D

Why look down on Jaguh Kampong? Jaguh Kampung is also not bad. If all Malaysian players are Jaguh Kampong, it is time for BAM to try their best to organise all international tournaments in Malaysia, for examples, World Championships, World Cup, Asian Games, Sudirman Cup, Thomas Cup or even Olympics Games one day.:D Then, all Jaguh Kampung will be the tournament champion.

The worst thing is even play in homeground also lost in early rounds to unknown foreign players.:D For examples, Kuan Beng Hong. I think even some retired Malaysian like Ong Ewe Hock or Yong Hock Kin could trouble Kuan Beng Hong.

Now, there are a lot of homeground for Chinese players. We have China Open, China Master, Hong Kong Open, Macau Open, Chinese Taipei Open.:D
