I dont think Zhang Ning will retire. She mentioned in a recent report she will play the 2008 olympics. At the moment, despite her two losses, she is by far the most consistent player in China. Her recent losses to Yao and Judith was her first to a non Chinese player in a very very long time, and unless my memory fail me, she had only lost to XXF and another Chinese youngster once, prior to this, and all who beat her goes on to win the competition!
