The Malaysians are likely to skip the Hong Kong Open on Aug 30-Sept 3 as it will be too close to the World Championships and also disrupt final preparations.

Tony G. and Candra W. will come and pair up once again to entertain you guys...and in hope of winning the tourneyWhere did you get that information? One of the Canadians said Candra was heading to Korea after Canada, but no one said why. Putting two and two together, I'm now wondering whether that means, by any chance, that the two will pair up for both events.

I assume you've read abt the U.S. Open (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34946&page=5)(see post #80) thread already and I've mentioned abt Tony going to the HK Open..He confirmed he and Candra will play together there...
There was also another thread, i believe abt Candra Wijaya's trip/coaching clinic in Canada at C2??, which had some inquiries abt his next trip..

That's right. I did end up finding this post...
..btw, i met with Tony G. and asked him if he's going to HK Open and he said yes and guess who is he going to pair up with.............yup, he's back with Candra again(i'm sure their names are in the draw already)..so for those BC fans in HK(ie. taneepak, badMania and the rest, what a treat you guys'll have)..
...on the U.S. Open thread (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=417756&postcount=80) so that did answer my question. Evidently, you got it from the horse's mouth. But previously, I'd seen this one...
Chandra says he's going to the Korean/Hong Kong Open after his stint at ClearTwo....on the Candra in Canada thread (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34647&page=2), and I wondered if together this might mean we could expect a Tony/Candra pairing in Seoul. However, I'm still hoping that someone who can get close to Tony in California or to Candra in BC can get the chance to answer that question. If not, the draws will be out soon enough.
