i recently bought a CAB20 strung it with BG65 at 24lbs(my usual tension). was very happy with it. had countless good games, powerful smashes/drives, easy clears, superb shot control until the string broke after 1 month of regular use(3-4x a week, 2-3hrs of play). then i had it restrung also with a BG65 at 24 lbs with my usual stringer. but when i played with it the next day, i somehow couldn't hit the bird like before. i feel i couldn't generate the same power as before. i couldn't consistently hit it solidly. btw, i have played around 3x already with the new strings. maybe a few more games will help me get back my stroke and timing. you guys have similar experience/s?

I use a cab 21 sp, initially strung at 26 lbs using a BG 68Ti, and it performed great. When I had it re-strung with a BG 85 at 26 lbs, it felt different, but still ok.
In your case, I think it's just the feel of new strings, particularly since the BG 65 has been known to lose tension very quickly. What I mean to say is maybe the 'feel' that you're used to is BG65 at 24 lbs, minus the "slack".
By the way, it's nice to know a fellow cab user from the phils. I'm sure you've noticed that we're a rare breed over in this part of the world.
