Hi everyone!

I moved recently to Toronto and the whole process of relocating and integrating myself in a new environment has left me unable to play badminton for many months now. I live in the Lawrence and Bathurst area and I am presently looking for a place to get myself back to playing this game that I missed so much. I can rate myself as somewhat good to intermediate.

i sure would appreciate getting information on court locations, membership or visit fees, contact details and contact person/s in Toronto. or if there are courts that I can rent for an hour or two just to brush up and polish my skills before hitting the court with other players.

I shall look forward to any assistance on this matter. Thanks.

The first thing you should do is run a search in the Places To Play > Canada East section in this forum. You should find lists of places to play and the opinions of players who played at those clubs (i.e. Mandarin and Lees)

You may want to check out this:
http://www.ontariobadminton.on.ca/client/oba/obawebsite2.nsf/webwheretoplay?openform&id=1

lists all the clubs that are in ontario. When i first moved to toronto i used this as a reference and just started calling clubs that were closest to my area.

I currently play at George Brown College Badminton Club (it's a feather only club)

good luck

Thanks a lot for the info and the link. I'll drop by George Brown very soon.. I think this is nearer my place than Lee's or Mandarin.

Appreciate it.
