markburry_90 08-13-2006, 09:11 PM I bought an armortec 800 defensive from ebay from Tum98, with pretty decent prices. ($160) all included. good option if you want yonex racquet.

i really couldnt see wich one was head heavy or not because there was no info on it =(It sounds as if you have answered your own question. In addition to being the cheapest by far (and that being indicated as your major criteria), you have expressed satisfaction with the Magan racquets before. If you do decide to risk it with the Super Nano 7 and you really want to save money, try waiting for Mattshop to carry it and order from them. At present, they only seem to have the SN 5 but their member price is C$81!!!! Their regular price is the same as Brown's in Toronto (C$157) so it seems too good to be true but another member claimed the membership was free and they may even ship overseas. Even if you get charged for shipping and customs, it still would be a steal.

Show some respect to other posters, please. :(
If my memory serves myself correctly, I think you were a big supporter for Victor. Therefore, ppl might be confused why you dragging other brands into your consideration, especially the price is almost doubled.
Blade 08-15-2006, 12:57 PM Lazzy buddy i have said nothing to dis-respect the others.
I was just wondering why people said that XD
Anywho, its not that i'm a big victor suporter, its just that these are the only racquets i feel comfortable with.

well, you listed all the prices and then asks "I want to buy the cheapest, wich is it?"
anyhoo, the choice is up to you....if Í had to choose I'd pick the Sotx woven 11 :p:D
Blade 08-15-2006, 01:28 PM yeah i know thats just me not even explaining myself right ~.~
I ment, the cheapest one but for a head heavy, medium stiff racquet.

i wanna check it outThe mattshop info I was referring to is here (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=341050&highlight=mattshop+membership#post341050), in one of the few Victor threads that you didn't initiate. It doesn't actually include the link (http://www.mattshop.com.tw/splb-New-Victor.asp?spdl=racket&spxl=Victor-Racket-SuperNano), though, which is to a page that still has no Super Nano 7.
Good luck finding the racquet you like. I'm still using my Super Nano but I've only played with it once since getting it restrung...finally. I was too cheap to cut the factory strings and instead I had to wait 6 months for them to break on their own! That's the trouble with loose stringing jobs: they suck to play with and they take forever to break on their own.
Blade 08-15-2006, 11:47 PM thanks alot man
Blade 08-15-2006, 11:56 PM darn i cant understand anything in there and i cannot instal the language packs
westwood_13 02-11-2007, 10:22 AM Weighing on the Super Nano Pro 7... at my local pro shop, it sells for about $140 while the Super Nano 5 is significantly more. I personally don't really like the feel of the 7 at all, I much prefer the 5... but it is a heavier racquet, so you have to like that.
Blade 02-11-2007, 11:47 AM Well guys, i've played with the Power Waves 12 and i was amazed. I strung it at around 24lbs. Couldnt get the hang of it, but once i started playing with my wrist...wow. I had complete control over the shuttle, clears were nice and sweet, smashes were not as powerfull as a head heavy, but when I go the hang of it...there were powerfull, even for the backhand smashes.
crazyabtbaddy - Is that racquet Genuine? Because i seem really interested in that Zen racquet...it looks pretty sweet =o Think you could give me some info on it? Thanks in advance,
Blade
yy_ling 02-11-2007, 01:02 PM my idea is, find a specific model that can be your "good buddy", then stick with it, if its discontinued... well, time to search for a substitute
