Hi, new here.

I'm trying to find the website for Carlton badminton racquets but I can't seem to! They used to have one that was listed as the first link on Google, but it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know?

The problem is that I broke the factory strings on my Carlton Powerflo 600 AC, and I have no idea what tensions it can take or what it was originally to begin with. The only site that I can find that has info on it is Amazon, but it doesn't list tension info, only weight, level, etc.

Thanks!

The USRSA guide I have doesn't list that particular model, but the recommended range for other Power Flo models is listed as 16--18 lbs.

FWIW, HTH.

www.carltonsports.co.kr (http://www.carltonsports.co.kr) There is nothing on the Korean site apart from Airblade, Powerblade, and Megaflex. I don't think anything has gone up there in the last 2 years. The staff are still posting responses to BBS postings, though.

In fact, they even responded to one person's posting in English if only to say (in English) that they were on holiday and would respond after August 7th.

Another posting there involved a response to a request for a catalogue in early April of this year. They told the customer they'd send the catalogue even though I don't see any new products on the website.

It might be worth a try.

Thanks! Hm... 16-18 lbs seems really low though :(

I'll probably just get a new Carlton Airblade Lite or a Black Knight model since they actually have information on them.

Well, that's just the recommended range. You can certainly string yours tighter than that. Although, from my own experience with this line, I wouldn't go tighter than about 25 lbs. because I feel that the racquet material is quite flexible and "soft", rather like the old Yonex Ti-8. Any higher than 25 lbs. the string would mark the frame itself.

Good luck.

Though I also use Carlton (Airblade rasmussen Lite), may i suggest looking for other brands out there (Yonex, RSL, SOTX, Wilson, Prince, etc...):)
