I was just wondering which strings i should get for my armortec 800 offensive. I came across the BG80's and thought that they would be good since some people say that it is good for power and also has control. I play men's doubles and i'm basically an offensive player. :cool: I am asking anyone for their opinions on string tension or any recommendations for a different string...I also want to know how long they will last with nylon shuttles. Thanks to anyone who replies.

I had bg-80@24 lbs on my mp 88 and it's become my preferred string. The downside was it started to fray a bit after a month and broke after three months (I practice mostly with plastic but I use feather for competition).

i've been used bg80 on my at800off for a while now and it's been working very well for me. they don't last that long with nylon shuttles but they work wonders with feather. i've upped my tension from 23 to 25 or 26 and it's performance is better.

Not sure how long they would last against Nylons :), I was using BG85 @ 26x28lbs. I would highly recommend this string if you're willing to restring often :P

Unfortunately.... this racquet of mine developed a crack along the 11 o'clock area... so it's retired :(
