i have 3 prince whiplite Y-frame racquets. they are very old, but i find them to be excellent. chipped as hell, but i think they would withstand anything bar a nucleur holocaust. haven't really used any of the newer ones though ...

mine was the prince tt warrior, really light and fast, but man did it break fast. it was just from hitting birdies too, never got into clashes or anything. and im not that strong of a guy either, lol. musta been a bad year for me or sumthin cuz i broke 3 rackets in less than a month of getting them that year.:crying: luckily none of my rackets have broken this year. :D

the at500 is a good racket. i've used my friend's a few times and i noticed that it gives my shots a lot more power and bounce. but it seems like it vibrates a lot more than my normal racket does. plus it felt heavier too, but thats cuz i like light rackets more :D.

Any badminton racket is NOT designed for clash for hitting other objects. Using clash incidents is never an accurate standard for how durable a racket is.

i think you may have misread...he sed it wasnt from clashes it was from hitting birdies :p...which is odd as i have found my prince to be strong rly *touches wood*

The ones that broke were 2 Prince (TT Warrior) and 1 Yonex (MP66). Broke the Prince, got it replaced, that one broke too, then got a MP66....and it broke :crying:, then got a Gosen Aermet 2400, which didn't break. Luckily I was able to get the MP66 replaced for free, been using it since. Gave up on the Prince, didn't want to waste $15 to ship it in to Yonex.

From my experience with my Gosen, I think they're very good rackets. Their quality is no worse than Yonex.

There seems to be a new silver Oversize racket from Prince in the market. Has anybody tried it yet? It has a slightly larger racket face then normal that claims to have a bigger sweet spot. The colour is also real cool ; matt chrome and comes with a very big distinctive black bag. Its selling at US$75 plus stringing and grip.

Can anyone provide any info???:D :D :D

Any whiplite 1000? If so, could you tell me more about this racket other than its durabilty?

Thanks so much.

i have a weird shaped racket it lookse lik a Y then a half circle ontop of the y i think some people call it diamond head or raindrop shape.....can someone tell me abt these please? this racket is like at least 9 years old.....but i heard from some poeple that it produce lots of power....is this true?i realize the sweetspot would be alot bigger because of the stretched base of head, but bigger sweetspot means less concentrated power out of it.....so i unno, and could someone please tell me how to restring the racket lol it looks confusing....

oh yah and also on the klipper stringing site it says
LIGHTNING17 - 2019'M - 17'C22M X 23C9,11,13T - 9B107T6T - 5B
and my racket saying lightning on it so im guessing it is refering to mine for stringing pattern and it says their are suppose to be 22mx23c and i can only count on mine rite now theirs 18mx20C and i dont think it will fit any more on the mains because fromt he racket edge to the first string their is only abt 1 cm left. and for crosses it started at top7 and ended at bottom 7 and tied of at 5b. so i am wondering WTF?
