I've heard that badminton shoes (or some other indoor shoes) have a special sole and one shouldn't wear them outside gym. Is it true?
How bad it is to wear them a couple of hundred meters from gym to parking lot?

wearing them outside wears them out faster and the grip will wear out easily, just throw on a pair of slippers or something
