The cost of Ti 8 is around $700 (HK dollars) in Hong Kong. YY decided to stop production of this model because they now produce a new "muscle power" series which emphasized the power and strength of the rackets. e.g. model msucle-power 100, 77, 55.
I want to stress that stop production of a particular model does not mean that this model is not good enough. The producer may decide to stop production a model just because this model had already well accepted and used by the players and therefore its demand was decreased. So that they should produce a new model to accept new customers. E.g. 800 and 900 are in fact are very very good rackets but YY had decided to stop production these 2 models due to one and the other reasons.

I know what you mean Sze, they didn't stop the production of the Slim-10 because it wasn't good enough. I asked Yonex Japan about this why they stopped the Slim-10 production and it kinda was because they could only have a certain number of racket models in production. So for each new model they make, 1 model goes out of production

not 100% true, sze.
u cannot compare iso800 with ti-8 and slim10, etc.
iso800 was produced for many years prior to ceasing of production where as ti-8 and slim10 is on yonex product line for only 1 year.
